The Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, Colorado) is recruiting a new tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will focus on land system science, including drivers, trends, dynamics, and/or impacts of land use and management decisions on environmental change and socioecological processes. Methodological expertise may include modeling, spatial analysis, remote and ground-based observations, and/or social science approaches. The successful applicant will work in a highly collaborative university, teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and contributing to the land grant mission of Colorado State University. Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as land system science, quantitative reasoning, modeling, geospatial analysis and other related courses. We envision an independent researcher who will develop a strong, externally-funded research program.
