Department of Earth Sciences, Kent State University, Ohio is seeking a PhD student to conduct research in areas of Petrophysics and Fluid Dynamics. This funded project is titled: ‘How the surface roughness contributes to wettability and its alteration of geologic minerals’

Interested students will have a prior degree in Geoscience, or Petroleum Engineering, or Civil and/or Environmental engineering. Strong applicants will have a solid academic record (>3.4/4.0 GPA), and previous research experiences. Applicants not meeting these criteria will also be considered based on a compelling letter of interest. The student will also be eligible for funding during summer semesters based on academic progress.
