Lecturer
D-22-GEO-00009 | Geosciences | Faculty
The Geosciences Department at Princeton University seeks applications for a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach GEO 203, "Fundamentals of Solid Earth Sciences," the introductory undergraduate course for Geoscience majors and certain Civil Engineering majors, during the Fall 2022 semester. The on-campus course should be lecture and problem-set based, can include a field trip, and covers topics including solid earth geophysics, plate tectonics, basic mineralogy, and surface processes. We are looking for a creative approach to introductory Earth science that does not overlap too heavily with other Princeton GEO courses.
To apply, please submit an application that includes a curriculum vitae, a one-page statement of teaching experience, a one-page course proposal, and contact information for three references via the Princeton University academic hiring site: https://puwebp.princeton.edu/AcadHire/position/24781.
