The Division Director for EAR leads a team of professional and administrative staff in managing a broad portfolio of investments in research and education addressing the frontiers of knowledge that advance the Nation’s prosperity, health, and infrastructure. EAR supports research to advance understanding of the structure, composition, and evolution of the Earth, the life it supports, and the processes that govern the formation and behavior of the Earth's materials.
