MS and PhD Fellowships

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville is recruiting to fill multiple MS and PhD positions open to enthusiastic and highly-motivated graduate students beginning January 2023. Positions are available in Environmental Science, High- and Low-Temperature Geochemistry, Geomicrobiology, Hydrology, Igneous Petrology, Isotope Geochemistry, Paleontology, Planetary Geology, Remote Sensing, Sedimentology-Stratigraphy, Structure, and Tectonics. The recently expanded EPS department features a new building with cutting-edge classrooms and lecture halls, comprehensive analytical research laboratories, and strong collaborative ties with nearby Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Located in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee, the city of Knoxville offers abundant outdoor activities and a vibrant and diverse downtown community.
