The Graduate Program of Hydrologic Sciences (GPHS) is a multi-disciplinary program based at the University of Nevada, Reno and the Desert Research Institute (https://www.unr.edu/hydrologic-sciences). The 60 year-old program has a long history of graduate education and cutting edge research in a variety of water-related fields. The program plans to recruit and fund graduate students using research assistantships from individual faculty, research assistantships from the graduate school, and teaching assistantships.
