Master’s student positions in Climate Science at San Diego State University
The Department of Geography at the San Diego State University (SDSU) is seeking applicants for its Master’s program with emphasis in climate science starting in Fall 2023. Successful applications will work with Dr. Fernando De Sales and will be involved in interdisciplinary projects on the nexus of wildfire, deforestation, water resources, and crop suitability in a changing climate. The positions may be sponsored by SDSU, NOAA CESSRST, and NCAS-M fellowships; and include fees, tuition, and stipend. Applicants are expected to possess a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Geography, Climate or Environmental Science or a related field. Strong skills in oral and written communication are required. Some experience in data analysis and basic computer programming is preferred. The positions are open to residents and international students.
