One Ph.D. studentship in GHG emission from a potato farming in NL, Canada
A fully-funded Ph.D. studentship in GHG emission from a potato farming are available at Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada).
This student will study the impacts of different management scenarios on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from a potato farming in western Newfoundland, and examine how GHG emissions at the potato farming is regulated.
You should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and the appropriate academic background, for example, in agriculture science, agro-forestry, soil science, ecology, earth system science, physical geography, or other suitable subjects. You are required to regularly visit the potato farm to collect gas samples from static chambers, and analyze the samples in the lab, write high-quality manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication in the high impact journals, presentation in international/national conferences, and other requirement for a Ph.D. degree.
