The Center for Ocean Engineering (COE) at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank with starting date of August 25, 2023.

The COE at UNH seeks excellence through diversity among its administrators, faculty, staff, and students. The Center is particularly interested in creative scholars who can contribute to the leadership of COE, and make fundamental research contributions to one or more of the following focus areas: ocean renewable energy, marine structures, ocean sensing, ocean simulations, aquaculture and sustainable seafoods, coastal processes, marine geotechnics, marine robotics, air-sea interactions, and ocean acoustics.

The tenure home in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences for the successful applicant will be one of four departments: Mechanical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Earth Sciences. Academic duties will be split between the appropriate Department and COE. The Center includes both undergraduate and graduate programs in Ocean Engineering, and oversees the facilities in the Jere A. Chase Ocean Engineering Laboratory on UNH’s main campus in Durham.
