We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in geochemistry to work with the SMRFS (Subsurface Microbe-Rock-Fluid Systems) team at the University of Arizona.

The researcher will use field, analytical, and modeling approaches to understand the rock record of paleofluid flow and reaction and relationships with paleo- and neomicrobial life in the deep (hypo-) critical zone, focusing at least in part on geochronologic, mineralogic, compositional, and isotopic investigations of the rock record of paleofluid flow.

We seek a collaborative and motivated individual capable of integrating results and perspectives across disciplines using radioisotopic dating, major/trace/isotopic analysis, reactive-transport modeling, and field observations.

Apply at https://talent.arizona.edu/ using position req13166, with cover letter, CV, and contact information for 3 references. Applications should be received by 28 February 2023 for full consideration. Contact Pete Reiners (reiners@arizona.edu) or Jen McIntosh (jenmc@arizona.edu) for more information.
