The Department of Geophysics in the Porter School of Environment and Earth Sciences at Tel Aviv University is seeking to fill a tenure-track professorship. The position is primarily for a tenured Assistant Professorship, but candidates at the Associate level will also be considered.
We welcome applications from scientists in the broad fields of Solid Earth, using theoretical, experimental, observational, and computational approaches, including but not limited to the fields of:
- Geology
- Rock Physics
- Plate Tectonics
- Geodynamics
Candidates are expected to advise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, teach undergraduate and graduate courses at the departmental level, and perform administrative and service duties commensurate with their level of appointment. Hebrew knowledge is preferable but not mandatory.
