Job Details

Denison University invites applications for a two-year visiting assistant professor in the Earth & Environmental Sciences to begin in August 2023. We are seeking a broadly trained Earth/Environmental scientist to teach four courses in a 2/2 format: Environmental System Science, Historical Geology, and introductory Earth & Environmental Sciences. Successful candidates are expected to be outstanding teacher-scholars ,and, as a liberal arts college, we will prioritize candidates who evidence a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Candidates will have a Ph.D. by August 2023 in Earth and(or) Environmental Sciences or a closely related field (ABD will be considered as well).
