The School of Geosciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking two colleagues for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in the areas of: 1) Structural Geology / Tectonics and 2) Mineralogy or Environmental Geology. The applicants must be capable of building a strong, externally funded research program and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful applicants will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in one of these stated areas as well as courses in their own geological science specialty. Courses are part of the curriculum of the following degrees: PhD in Earth and Energy Sciences, MSc in Geology, and BSc in Geology.

Successful candidates must be committed to working effectively with diverse student populations and in interdisciplinary teams. Applicants are expected to describe their commitment to fostering a diverse educational environment through their research, teaching, and/or service activities.
