The University of Idaho is seeking up 10 PhD graduate research assistants as well as Postdoc, technician positions for the Innovative Agriculture and Marketing Partnership (iamp.uidaho.edu) project funded through the USDA Climate-Smart Partnership Grant.  This project focuses on incentivizing implementation and monitoring impacts of climate smart farming and grazing practices on soil carbon, greenhouse gas emission, soil health, and other soil hydrologic and biophysical effects. The project also seeks to generate and advance commodity markets for seven major agricultural commodities grown in Idaho, including wheat, barley, potatoes, sugar beets, chickpeas, hops, and beef.  We are seeking motivated students and staff interested in working together in a team environment and interested in making an impact on the sustainability of agriculture and the environment.
