The Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS; www.eoas.ubc.ca) in the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC) is currently recruiting a Scientific and Business Development Director for our Electron Microbeam and X-Ray Diffraction Facility (EMXDF).
The Director will be responsible for the scientific advancement, research direction and business development of the facility. The position requires leadership in facility and team management, as well as method development and process optimization in electron microbeam and X-ray diffraction analysis.
