Job Description:
We are seeking a PhD student in Water Resources Management at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, beginning January 2025. The successful candidate’s research will focus on implementing a data-model-policy fusion framework for water resource management, specifically analyzing water budgets to support sustainable water use and sovereignty for tribal communities.
Preferred Qualifications:

An M.Sc. or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., hydrology, environmental science, water resources engineering).

Experience with water budget analysis, hydrological modeling, and empirical data collection.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with diverse communities.
