Job Details
The National Central University of Taiwan is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Dean of the College of Earth Sciences. This position is for a three-year term and can be extended for an additional term. It will start on Feb. 1, 2025.
The College of Earth Sciences includes the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, Department of Earth Sciences, Department of Space Science and Engineering, Graduate Institute of Applied Geology, Graduate Institute of Hydrological and Oceanic Sciences, and an International Ph.D. Program for Earth System Science, Interdisciplinary Program of Earth System Science, Center for Advanced Model Research Development and Application, Advanced Research Center for Earth Sciences, Carbon Storage and Geothermal Research Center, Taiwan Polar Institute.
Qualified Candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Be an active researcher in earth sciences with outstanding academic accomplishments and broad international perspective.
2. Held the position of a university professor or equivalent rank.
3. Have at least 2 years of academic or research administrative experience.
4. Foreign applicants must be fluent in the Chinese Language..
