The School of the Earth, Ocean & Environment (SEOE) at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, invites applications for a 9-month, full time Lecturer (Professional Track) in Environmental Science to begin August 16, 2025.  

 

We seek an outstanding individual who uses innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to instruction of undergraduate courses at the university level. The successful candidate will complement, strengthen, and diversify the SEOE’s course offerings. A M.S. or Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment (ABDs considered). Teaching responsibilities of 4 courses per semester will include introductory environmental science undergraduate courses for non-science majors (ENVR 101) and undergraduate courses for SEOE majors in the candidate’s area of interest/specialty.
