The Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at The University of Alabama (UA) seeks outstanding applicants for multiple tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at all ranks with research interests in the areas of hydrology, hydroinformatics, and water resources engineering closely aligned with the research themes of the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (https://ciroh.ua.edu/). Candidates making advances in hydrologic science using artificial intelligence and remote sensing are of particular interest for this search.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in civil engineering, or a closely related field, demonstrate excellence in scholarly research, and show a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
