We are looking to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences (DAES) at the University at Albany. We seek candidates with backgrounds in terrestrial water systems (land surface hydrology) or snow and ice (cryospheric processes) who will perform research under the supervision of a current DAES faculty member, with the goal of developing an independent research program. This is a 12-month position that is expected to be two years in duration and may serve as entry point for a tenure-track faculty position in DAES.
The full posting, including job responsibilities, qualifications, and how to apply, may be found at https://albany.interviewexchange.com/jobofferdetails.jsp;jsessionid=0B65527B53F229EBA6197363A1F28DEE?JOBID=184651. Review of applications will start at the end of February 2025, but the position will remain open until filled. Questions may be directed to the chair of the search committee, Mathias Vuille (mvuille@albany.edu).
