The Department of Marine Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a Teaching Associate beginning in August 2025. Candidates must have an M.S. in Environmental or Marine science with at least 18 graduate credits of Environmental Science, Marine science, or closely related field. Candidates with 2 years of experience in Environmental or Marine science research or work experience beyond the M.S. and 1 related peer reviewed publication, and/or a Ph.D. in Environmental or Marine science with research experience and at least 1 related peer reviewed publication are preferred. The primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate Environmental science lectures and labs for science majors and/or Marine science lectures and labs for science majors. We seek a highly motivated individual who will support experiential learning activities in lecture, laboratory, and field settings.
